Production Capacities

We have a fleet of over 30 last generation CNC machine including machining centers with simultaneous lathing of high speed and high torque for all types of materials.

Through the use of Lean Manufacturing technologies we got high productivity thanks to the implementation of production processes failsafe (poka yoke), SMED methodology (Part time change machine in less than 10') with next-generation industrial means and with specific tools for each process developed by our manufacturing engineering staff.

We industrialize and manufacture prototypes, short and medium series dimensions from ø0,5mm up to Ø800mm and from 5mm lengths up to 2m.

Gutmar S.A. has a loyal and highly motivated professional staff qualified in mechatronic project development and manufacturing.

  • Multidisciplinary team with about 25 % graduated from technical careers and experts in the use of advanced technologies used in the projects carried out.
  • Purchasing Department and external production to manage our extensive network of approved suppliers .
  • Computer programmers in CAD- CAM- CAE using specific software dedicated to our CNC machines park
  • School workshop aimed both, the continuous training of our staff, as training of students from all technical disciplines and in particular young people pursuing Mechanical Manufacturing Modules. Internal workshop- School for over 20 years.


Our engineers develop projects using programs like CATIA V -3D CAD design and finite element calculation , using VISIO for electronic design, and different simulation modules for electric motors, kinematic simulation, design sheet metal and bending .

Process engineering and manufacturing complex parts and surfaces Non- regulated, computer-assisted , 5-axis CAM programming using hyperMILL program.

Thanks to ABAS ERP we can plan, track real-time and monitor our production.





Knowledge transfer

  • Gutmar Group engineers teach classes and subjects for graduate degrees of Master of Engineering in La Salle University, they also read lectures at several Engineering colleges and associations and technical schools.
  • Gutmar as well as Aquiles Robotics are active members of the Committee on Robotics and Aeronautics Committee of the College of Industrial Engineers of Catalonia (EIC)
  • Member of the Business Advisory Council of the Salesians EUSS
  • Patron of the F.P. Barcelona foundation school of crafts


We promote the policy of doing business between private companies and university centers, training schools.In that way Gutmar actively provides training alternation with school as the formula "Work and Study"
